All retainer packages include:

  • Monthly bookkeeping (processed in Sage Business Cloud Accounting directly from supplier and client source documents — not bank statements). The fees are tiered according to transaction volume to meet your business where it is — and grow with you.
  • VAT and Income tax return submissions
  • Annual Financial Statements

Ad hoc SARS requests/ audits / follow-ups are charged at an hourly rate of R1 100 (ex VAT)

  • The membership is designed for founder-led SMEs that value structure, financial clarity and long-term sustainability.
  • Monthly rhythm is maintained through structured financial review calls,
  • Support is delivered remotely through Sage Business Cloud Accounting (Sage BCA), Abueng’s operating methodology and a standardised Chart of Accounts (COA) structure.
  • The monthly membership includes a basic compliance calendar monitoring structure for one legal entity. Additional entities can be incorporated into the compliance monitoring structure at an additional monthly fee per entity.
  • Unlike with our monthly retainer model, business owners remain responsible for completing and submitting their own tax returns until the business is ready to operate within our monthly retainer model. Basic e-filing training can be booked using the wallet.
  • The membership is anchored in our SME Financial Seasons Framework™, helping SMEs navigate survival, building, plateau, rebuilding and traction seasons with greater clarity and confidence.
